This dessert looks so elegant and it’s so easy to put together in just under 15 minutes. It’s very simple, you don’t even need to prepare the dough because its made from Puff pastry dough that you can get at any grocery store.

Simple and elegant dessert made with apple, cranberry and puff pastry dough.
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 apples *any apple of your choice
- fresh or frozen cranberries
- cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.

Cut the puff pastry sheet into 2 even sections. Place on the baking sheet.

In a small bowl, mix apricot jam with 2 tablespoons of water. Brush the apricot and water mixture on the dough.

Cut the apples in half and remove core. Thinly slice the apples. Place the sliced apples on the dough side by side, overlapping them in a pattern. Add some cranberries, and sprinkle on the cinnamon.

Crimp the edges of the dough all around. Brush with some water or egg wash on the side and sprinkle the edges with some sugar, optional.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until crust turns golden brown. Serve warm or room temperature. Enjoy!
