Gourmet style pizza that can be prepared at home.
- 1 pound pizza dough ball
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced or squeezed
- 2-3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 jar or can pizza sauce
- few canned artichokes
- 1/2 jar roasted red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 1/2 block mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/2 tsp oregano
Preheat oven to 425 F. Set to convection.
Line a pizza pan dish with parchment paper and lightly coat with some olive oil, or use cooking oil spray.
Roll or stretch out the dough to desired shape and thickness. *I roll it out thin to make a thin crust.
Spread with tomato sauce. Evenly layer on the cheese.
Place your sliced artichokes and roasted bell peppers.
Mix olive oil with minced garlic together in small dish. Pour or scatter this mixture with a spoon on top. Lastly sprinkle with dried oregano.
Bake the pizza for about 10-15 minutes until a golden crust forms.
