- 1 pre-packaged and pre-washed fresh arugula
- 1/2 package fresh strawberries
- 1-2 tablespoons chopped or slivered almonds *you can also use walnuts
- 4 tablespoons white or red whine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 2-3 tablespoons honey *depends how sweet you want you can use more or less
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- fresh cracked pepper
In a large bowl, add the arugula. Slice the strawberries and add place on top of the arugula.
Prepare the dressing. Take a small container or bottle and add all the ingredients for the dressing. Close the lid tight and give it a nice shake, until all the ingredients mixed well and the oil and vinegar has emulsified.
Pour the dressing over the salad. Give it a slight toss and than sprinkle on the almonds.
